Why would I be proud? I had nothing to do with creation. Neither did Adam or Eve. Evolution is a “theory” that has never been proven.

Evolution is such good science even the discovery institute admits it exists at the micro level: hence COVID variants. The creation story, taken literally, is all rather silly, don't you think?

Nope. The Covid virus mutated but it did not evolve. It is still a virus. If it evolved it wouldn’t be a virus it would be a monkey or squirrel. Evolution has never and will never be proven.

Evolution states that when a mutation takes place, if it is beneficial it will become part of the traits of that organism, and if un-beneficial it will die out. Hence two populations of the same species separated by some natural barrier will become different from each other over time since they will not experience identical mutations. African elephants and Indian elephants have a common ancestor, not a different set of antediluvian parents, neither of which was an elephant.

A textbook on evolution written by evolutionist who believe in evolution is unacceptable because of their bias. Their belief of creatures evolving from other creatures is pure fantasy. There is zero evidence for evolution. If evidence could be offered I would accept it as a fact. Until then, evolution is just a theory.

I thought you might be interested in what evolution is supposed to be about, instead of your half baked ideas which are so easy to disprove. Science always accepts current explanations for phenomena may change over time which is why the use the word "theory" to mean the current best explanation. Hence the Newton theory of gravity was replaced by Einstein's more accurate explanation. Evangelicals assume they use the word "theory" to mean "hypothetical".

I know perfectly well what evolution is all about. It’s a fairy tale adults like to believe in that keeps them from being accountable to God for their actions. If man was not created by God, then man will not be judged by God. That is what evolution is all about. Again, there is zero evidence for evolution. If you have any legitimate evidence I’d love to see it. Show me a creature evolving into another creature. Give me an amoeba transforming into a wombat (you seem to love wombats); Let me see a frog morphing into a horse. Show me empirical evidence. Don’t offer me textbooks written by evolution zealots.

If you really do know how evolution is thought to happen, then it makes your straw man case even more despicable. I gave you that text because you had convinced me you had no idea what the theory actually says.

You have given us a standard "all science is anti-religion: therefore all science must be rebutted" case so beloved of those who hate science for not proving religion is true.   Since you are so determined to show evolution is false, I doubt any evidence will satisfy you:  even though you have conceded that mutations do take place in living creatures.   (Is there a theory the evangelicals have how such mutations occur?)

Again, I know what the “theory” teaches and I reject it because it is false. Sure a virus can mutate but it is still a virus and not another creature. An amoeba cannot evolve into a wombat. A monkey cannot evolve into a human. All fairy tales told to soothe the conscious of people who do not want to stand before God. If evolution is a thing show me. And Christians are not “anti-science”. Science has developed many medical advancements. Science has developed many things to help mankind. But evolution is false science. Just like there are false religions, evolution is false science. Unless of course you can provide suitable evidence…

You do keep repeating your straw man argument: one is forced to question whether you really do understand it. If you accept that the African and the Indian elephants had a common ancestor, then two species evolved from one common stock. And it is not impossible, given enough time, primitive hominoids to evolve into homo sapiens.

Finally, we face a the common dilemma the evangelicals put upon us. In essence, anyone who reads the bible with an open mind will see it is telling the truth: no further evidence is needed. Outside of biblical truth, evidence must be provided to convince the evangelical that a good case has been made. I take it you read the link I provided. No? My, what a surprise...

Yeah I read the article, and it did not suggest humans evolved from another animal. Sure, humans have progressed over the centuries but we’re still human. Again, no evidence that humans evolved from another creature.

The African elephant and Indian elephant are still elephants. Dogs and wolves are related but they are still canines. Selective breeding within canines result in different breeds, but they are still canines. Again, evolution is a fairy tale with no evidence.

Evolution has NEVER said that a mating pair can produce an offspring of a different species. Holding that that is what evolution states makes it a simple matter to show such a theory is patently false.

You would be rightly annoyed with me if I misquoted scripture to prove it was in error. So: please take the time to learn what evolution DOES say before you dismiss it as false science.

Regardless of what I say, or how I say it, evolution is false science without any support. Now, if you can offer empirical evidence of a monkey transforming into a man, I’ll accept evolution. If you can offer any evidence of any creature morphing into another creature I’ll accept evolution. Until then I will consider evolution fake news.

You yourself showed how many different breeds of dogs there are nowadays:  but they are all dogs.   That is how evolution works.   And you have never denied that African elephants and Indian elephants have a common ancestor:  that is morphing at work.

All the evidence for the evolution of the human species is in historic records:  you will reject it as not being empirical.

But even if evolution one day is replaced by another explanation, at the moment it makes far more sense than Adam and Eve getting chucked out of Eden for eating forbidden fruit.

But the different breeds are still dogs. Nary a dog has ever evolved into a bear, kangaroo, or wombat. African and Indian elephants are still elephants. Nary an elephant has ever morphed into an alligator, chimpanzee or hummingbird. There is nothing to make me believe these pachyderms evolved from any other creature. Species and breeds may die out, but they do not transform into another creatures.

There is no evidence that humans evolved from any other creature either. What you have is the opinion of evolution zealots who looks at fossils, and remains and draw erroneous conclusions.  I simply do not have enough faith to believe in such hocus pocus as evolution. Fake science.

Creation by intelligent design makes much more sense to me.

You keep presenting thing evolution has never proposed in order to make the case it is bad science. Clearly the material I sent you has had no effect.

Let me show you how silly this is by presenting a hypothetical case for you. Suppose I wrote: the work that Jesus did for the LGBT community in ancient Rome clearly shows that he truly embraced liberal politics. Would you be a tad dismayed at such a distortion? That is why we are a tad dismayed with the nonsense you purport to be evolution theory.

But let us be clear in what your stance appears to be. Lack of empirical evidence shows evolution to be bad science. Adam and Eve, on the other hand is good science on the grounds that biblical truth needs no evidence. A similar stance allows one to accept the Tower of Babel and Noah's ark as both being good science.

Evolution teaches that once upon a time in a scum pond far, far away, something happened to give life to an ameba which over time grew legs and a tail and walked out of that scum pond and eventually began to swing from tree to tree until one day he jumped down and walked into a college and came out a full blown liberal. When life originated no one was present to witness it so every explanation of how it happened is bad science.

All we have to do now is explain why the genome of the Chimpanzee matches the human genome by over 98% and we will all be happy.

And to bring the thread back to its original drift, the latest polls suggest the dems are going to give republicans a right royal drubbing in the mid-terms. Yay for the spread of secularism.
