The downside, I guess, is the more the MAGA crowd realize their lack of chances of progress through the electoral system, the more likely the onset of violence to achieve their aims by other means.

It sure seems as if Joe hit an open nerve in the GOP with his denunciation of the MAGA mob.

It's not the MAGA crowd we have to worry about. It's the liberal Bolsheviks who are prone to violence...Antifa, BLM, etc...I find it totally hilarious that the Antifa crowd are the actual fascists. But so it is with liberals to twist the truth to align with their ideology. Biden sure did a lot to unify the country the other night with the red commie background while calling half of Americans a danger to democracy. But so it is with liberals to twist the truth to match their ideology.

And we agnostics have no ideology to twist the truth to match. When given compelling cases we are easy to persuade. It is finding compelling cases that seems to be beyond the capabilities of the right wing conservative evangelical. All we get is rant and rave dressed up as indignant outrage.

There's no open sore there at all. Neither is there indignant outrage. I just present the truth. I have never seen anyone wearing a MAGA hat standing outside of polling places armed with rifles. I have seen armed Black Panthers at polling locations. The truth speaks for itself. That is why I have to roll my eyes and shake my head when I hear liberals decrying conservatives as a threat to democracy.

I take it you see the Jan 6 incident as a mere peaceful protest? And that Biden and his allies stole the last election? (Just speculating, a formal response is not required)

Ah yes, Jan.6. If you watch the videos, you will see that the protestors were let in. If that had been an actual insurrection, there would have been guns and massive bloodshed. Instead, you see a loon running around in a buffalo headdress. I will be the first to admit that none of them should have done that to our capitol and everyone involved should be charged according the the laws they broke. But even the Jan.6 protestors do not come close the the violence and destruction caused by BLM and Antifa where whole city blocks were destroyed. Even now, liberal punks are robbing stores; violence in Dem run cities are at epidemic levels; homeless people in these Dem run cities are everywhere. It is a proven fact that today's Democrats ruin everything they control.

Opinion? Surely you are not suggesting that the high crime in Dem run cities is just my opinion. You cannot seriously claim the vast number of homeless people in Dem run cities are only my opinion. You have a point:  the major problem is that you have no ability to distinguish between correlation and causation.    That should be no surprise for few Republicans have such an ability.   Even Trump himself is on record as saying, about electric cars, "We need to rid of them".  And that is a literal rendition of his words:  it seems his grammar is as bad as his logic.

I know exactly the causation: Democrats are unable to govern properly. Their liberal policies lead to crime, violence, homelessness, high taxes and a sense of entitlement. All Democrats want to do is retain power. If they can pick my pocket and give it to someone else, they can buy their vote. When legal means fail them, they resort to intimidation and violence. Liberals ruin everything they touch.

If there was a single shred of evidence to support your hypotheses it might move them a little way from being no more than indignant rants and raves.

Surely you jest. The evidence for what I stated is overwhelming. Inflation through the roof; open border allowing illegal immigrants and drugs to flood our streets; high crime, unfettered violence and homelessness are rampant in Democratic run cities. To deny any of these facts is a blatant denial of the truth. But then again, you are a premier Denialist.

Inflation is world wide and is not evidence of American mismanagement. And calling people who disagree with you "Deniers" is a tad childish, don't you think? Probably not, for thinking does not seem to be your prime asset.

Inflation in America is solely the result of Sleepy Joe's policies. Crime and violence is the result of Democratic soft on crime policies. The border crises is the responsibility of Biden. There was no inflation, recession or open borders when Trump was in office. The violent crime in Dem run cities existed during the Trump Administration. So there's your evidence of how Democrats screw up what they control.

I couldn't care less about worldwide inflation. My concern is inflation here in the US of A. That monkey sits squarely on Bolshevik Biden's shoulders. Along with the human crisis at the border, the flooding of drugs onto our streets and the violent crime in DEMOCRATIC run cities. Now, deny that.

But national and international inflation are inexorably intertwined as both come from the pandemic.   Perhaps Sleepy Joe is responsible for the pandemic, too.   I would not be at  all surprised if some right wing loonie made that claim.

The border crisis is far more complex than chanted slogans by MAGA loyalists.   This article gives a more reasoned approach:  which is why it will be nay-sayed by the MAGA faithful.   And blaming Sleepy Joe for the activities of drug smugglers seems a tad desperate:  if you throw enough mud, some might stick sort of ploy.

Yes, inflation around the world does have an effect on the US, but Biden’s policies have made inflation in the US worse. His war on the oil companies is driving inflation up to where we are now in a recession despite his administration trying to redefine what a recession is. Fuel prices literally determine prices on the goods they carry.

Biden’s open border policy is the root cause for the crisis there. Period. All the factors mentioned in the article you referred to have existed for years before Biden was elected. When word gets out that the border is open, these immigrants rush to get in America. The result is the human crisis we are seeing now. Again, Democrats ruin everything they touch.

Yep - it is a great pity that he is having so much legislative success; otherwise the midterms would have brought great joy to the far right ...

We'll see how the mid-term elections turn out. I'm predicting the GOP takes both the House and Senate.

One good thing in al of this is that if Herr Drumpf really, really believes he is the real president being denied access to his rightful office, then he won't be able to run again.
